The Kama Sutra of India，or the Art of Love，is to human sexuality what the Bible is to religion and The Odyssey was to ancient Greece.It is a cornerstone of our cultural heritage，a text that has played an immensely important role in shaping human values across centuries and continents and will most likely shape future generations as well……….. In it you can find every conceivable sexual position，from the mundane to the bizarre，and everything in between.It describes how to make love last all night long or just five minutes，in bed，outside，standing up，sitting down，while walking，even during war！ It teaches men and women alike，with simple yet clear language，everything there is to know about anatomy，the human body，physiology，pleasure，torture，pain，ecstasy，how to make each other happy，keep the spark alive between them，even how to be happy with very little（I am not kidding）.It discusses jealousy，obsession，husband wife relations，extramarital affairs，divorce，betrayal——it doesn't ignore anything！ And it explains why we are so different from each other yet so much the same at the same time ....all this in a tone that is neither moralistic，judgmental nor preachy but rather friendly，informed，and witty.
Here is one of my favorite passages from it，on how to pleasure a woman： “First，her male counterpart should know how to stimulate her genitals，which he can do by applying pressure to them properly using his thumbs，index fingers或middle finger.Secondly，he can move his hands up and down her back，wrists，shoulders and neck，giving his full attention to her relaxing muscles completely.Lastly，by putting his lips near her ear and breathing gently into her ear canal，he can easily make her body melt“ 读起来简直就像是现代文！And it works too—over 50% of couples who read and apply its strategies report improved sex lives，so there must be something to it（though I have no idea whether these were American couples或者Indian couples）.And it seems to work for both genders equally as well.In short，the Kama Sutra is truly an amazing piece of literature that transcends gender and time----something we can all learn from and share with others regardless of nationality，religion，
