Anthony is the former superstars of NBA. He was a stand out player for UofA and with Phoenix Suns before he join NY Knicks in 2014-2015 season where he won an NBA championship. Anthony played seven seasons with Knicks and averaged almost 25 points per game. In his last year at Knick， he signed a $27 dollar million contract extension making him one of the highest paid players in NBA history until that point.
In mid 2018， Anthony joined Houston Rockets but only stayed on their roster for two months when he get traded to Chicago Bulls. Shortly after joining Bull， he signed a one year “hard cap” deal worth 430k dollars just so he can play under new coach Fred Hoiberg who once coached Anthony back in College days. With Bulls， Anthony finally rekindled his love for playing basketball again and helped the team reach the playoffs as the eighth seeded team.
However， it is not all roses and unicorns though. Anthony has proven himself over time as one of the best scorer in NBA. His career scoring average 26.2 points per game is ranked number three amongst active players behind Kobe Bryant (25) and LeBron James (24.6) while standing ahead of Dirk Nowitzki， Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook among others. However， defensive lapses have often been part of Anthony’s game and he will need to do better if he wants to capture another title this coming 2019 Playoffs against Golden State Warriors or Toronto Raptors.
For now， Anthony is enjoying the limelight once more as an integral member of Team USA basketball which claimed the gold medal at FIBA World Cup in China last August. And like many other times before during his illustrious playing career， he will be expected to carry Team USA to victory yet again as they face France today， September 12 in the first round of the tournament.
